In all this talk of Guardiola and "overcoaching", poor game management, wrong subs etc, people are overlooking one thing: Carlo Anceotti.

CA is 62 to PG's 51 and has managed 1200 games in 5 major leagues to PG's 800 in three.

It's disresepctful to him to portray the outcome as being all down to Guardiola's failings rather than his abilities..

Absolutely, a huge part of this Madrid team's determination and ability to fight back into games has to come from the manager dealing with the giant egos yet still creating a pretty good atmosphere (in a club where that is a minor miracle).

When you watch replays of the first goal Cancelo really stands out, he barely makes any attempt and just strolls back as Benzema crosses it. Think most full backs worth their salt there are making more of an attempt to get back around their 6 yard box, if he had he probably cuts out Benzema's pull back.

Camavinga was sensational when he came on. In ET for the pen, he just ran past Rodri like he wasn't there.

No he was better than Kyle Walker sure according to Brendy LOL

Camavinga has some pace

Making up stuff now, you’re raging and it’s glorious to see LOL

You scoffed at me pointing out that in the 72 mins of the tie Walker was on the field City didn't concede but conceded 6 goals in the minutes he wasn't on the field, pointing out that Cancelo dealt better with Vicinius than Walker. Failing to mention that Cancelo was a major reason Real got back into the game.

You were totally wrong about Kyle Walker as a footballer. Just admit it.
We all make wrong calls as you should know.

Again telling lies, I said Vinicius Jnr was much quieter when Cancelo moved to the right! Not once did I say Cancelo played well or was better than Walker they were both poor if we are being honest.

Vinicius Jnr missed a sitter at the start of the second half, had that went in Walker would have been to blame, but it’s not mentioned as there was no goal.

Kyle Walker is the only footballer who actually looks uncomfortable on the ball in that City team, he has no obligation to attack which is just as well as he is sh*te going forward.

Walker is clearly not sh*te on the ball. He's very comfortable in possession.  He's a very good one on one defender. But he's equally good going forward

Haha

He wouldn’t be a regular in the team if he was technically inefficient.  Hes clearly not as good as James or trent going forward but hes comfortable in possession.  Hes changed his game since going to city. He was a marauding fullback at spurs.  At City he's primary job is the defensive work. Which is why he has marked players like mbappe vinicius etc out of the game

The only thing Walker has to his game is pace. It gets him out of so many predicaments which are caused by his lack of awareness

It’s a wonder Usain Bolt didn’t make it as a footballer

He has as many European Cup Finals and trophies on his CV as City have. He would probably have made as much difference as the traitor they bought. What an appalling waste of time and money that traitor is, when you could  get 2 Luis Diaz for the same amount.

They were the latest side to see the realities of hoping and wanting to face Real Madrid in the European Cup, for themselves. It should never happen, but Real haven't won 13 European Cups by accident. So no matter how many goals you score, it's only ever over when the ref on the night says so.

Interesting to see Kevin Doyle on RTE effectively accuse Klopp of lieing through his teeth, when he signed his new contract for another 4 years. According to Doyle, he's still going to leave in 2024 anyway and he only signed on the dotted line to shut the journalists up about it.

The final is not on the anniversary of Heysel.

It’s a day or two out, as was the recent minutes silence for Hillsborough

Happy to have missed out on Kane and get Haaland a year later for a third of what Spurs wanted for Kane

City and Liverpool r on a different level to rest of Europe IMO
Liverpool will have too much and also have the know how and balls in the competition

Fancy Vinicius Jnr to be the difference maker, will get so much space with how Trent operates.

And also, City clearly aren’t on a different level to the rest of Europe! Mad the lack of respect  Madrid still get, compare their run to the final to Liverpool’s too.

Correct

LOL

Baggio writing off serial Champions League winners Real Madrid!

We’ll see
I predict a final as easily won as the Spurs one a few years ago

Nope
