One million steps challenge for pieta house

Hi folks myself and the rest of the team at youthscape have taken on the challenge to walk a combined 1 million steps this Sunday in aid of pieta house. This challenge is a part of the social impact project that the young people we work with completes in the 6 months they spend on our program.

And the challenge has started I'm just back from 1st walk of the day having done 2590 steps which is a good start towards my own personal target of between 15 and 20 thousand steps.

Was up bright and early this morning to continue the challenge I'm now on 11k steps and as a team we are at a combined total of 264,353 which is great going

Few hours rest now for me watching the football have done 22657 myself surpassing my own personal goal and as a group we passed the 500k steps total at 2pm so we halfway to the target of 1 million already 😀

Good man ringer.  Doing something like this for Irish cancer society for the month of March 12,000 steps per day.  Well on course this week as doing 15k most days.  23,000 in one day is very good.  

If it wasn’t for work and a new born and posting on ybig would probably get to 23k most days 😀😀.

Thanks to everyone that's donated towards our challenge folks has been a great success with us getting well over the 1 million steps and on a personal level I ended up with 32195 steps when I had set a personal goal of between 15 and 20 thousand
