Yeah, if you need any specific info or want to know about anything then just ask!
We're landing in bout midday Sunday so any advice for a place to get the atmosphere before the game? Are there bars around the ground?

And then a more general one but any suggestions for bars/streets to go after he game? Not expecting much on a Sunday night, just myself and the brother going so just some decent bar that's not food-first
OK, so how the weather is might determine what you end up doing. Once you arrive into Dortmund, the old town is not too far from the train station so might be worth heading there first. There is a club shop there which may or may not be open on a Sunday (not much tends to open in Germany on a Sunday) and a few bars around there also. The ground is out on the edge of town and there isn't too much directly beside it. You can get the U-Bahn out from the main train station but I've walked out before along Hohe Strasse and stopped into a few local bars along the way and just joined some local fans for a beer (and got a ticket from one of them also). If you were to walk directly with no stops it's around 45 minutes.
Once you get to the ground right beside the Westfallenstadion itself is the Stadion Rote Erde where the Under 23s play. They have a bar and beer garden there and that's where I normally go for a few beers before the game as it's usually good in there.

Not sure I'd know too many places in town afterwards to be honest. As I said, Sunday tends to be quiet in Germany and I'd usually stay in Cologne when I'm over.  Dortmund is a nice enough but small city so there might be limited options.

The German Football Museum is just beside the main train station in Dortmund so would be worth a visit also if you have time on the Monday.

Zum Zollner is a cracking supporters bar. Type of place were they mark the beer mat of how many beers you've had, and you settle up heading out the door. It's at Stadhaus stop on the U Bahn so on the way to stadium. Well worth a visit.

Marking the beers on your beer mats is fairly common in that part of the world. Zum Zollner is a good spot - only been there once myself.

Cheers for the advice, followed a fair bit. Landed off the train, dropped the bags at the hotel and went to main square for food, then a little pub crawl from there to the stadium. went to Stadion Rote Erde as you mentioned outside the ground, then went in about 90 mns before kickoff. What a way to watch a match! Can't beat the terraces, was in our spot for about an hour before kickoff, quick toilet break at HT and then back for another hour. No hassel whatsoever coming and going in the terrace. Great atmosphere, although that kinda distracts a bit from watching the game.

Went to another bar outside the ground then, Strobels outside the ground afterwards, started there till about 10 and got a taxi back into town, You weren't kidding about nothing being open. Absolutely empty, no bars open, not even a casino to grab a beer. Back to the hotel and was in bed by 11. Great day out tho. Would highly reccomend it for the bucket list, superb stadium

Glad you enjoyed it  - You'll be hard pushed to find a better place to watch a game!

Bayern Munich have won the last 12 titles in a row until Spurs Harry Kane signs and now they are 8 points behind Bayern Leverkuson who also have a game in hand.

In fairness to Kane, he has been doing the business. 27 goals from 24 games.

Bayern needed to buy a DM last summer. Goretzka has regressed a lot and Kimmich isn't athletic enough to cover large spaces. Tuchel wanted Palhinha, but they didn't get him.

Bayern also sold off a lot of their squad depth to fund Kane. Sommer, Lucas Hernandez, Pavard, Sabitzer, Gravenberch and Mané were all sold. They even loaned out Stanisic to Leverkusen.

Terrible decision making by Bayern in recent years. A lot of changes at board level.

There aren't many teams who would win a league with Eric Dier as their cb.

Do you still support Bayern or did that end when Kane signed?

United, Barca, Bayern......please don't start supporting City.

Ended when Lewandowski joined Barca! I support Athletic Club now after visiting Bilbao twice in the past 18 months.
