With Shane Duffy captaining Ireland last night was up in Derry City a fortnight ago interviewed Johnny Crossan.
Banned as a teenager from all football ended up marking Alfredo Di Stefano of Real Madrid in a European Cup Semi Final. Great city, lovely people by the way. https://beyondthelastman.com/2019/11/19/%e2%80%8b%e2%80%8b%e2%80%8b%e2%80%8bjohnny-crossan-a-tale-of-survival/ |

Aside from the Derry connection, I'm struggling to see the relevance to the Irish team. Crossan played for the North.
