I saw today that Brian Barry-Murphy has Rochdale playing some lovely stuff in league 1, and thought this could be a good thread if it doesn’t exist already.
There seems to be a lot of our players moving into coaching, on top of the Mark Kennedy/Lee Carsley generation who are already well established. Re: Rochdale A Jon Wilson shout out in the Guardian 3 great goals v Southend: https://youtu.be/IgNGwlZ-gDU

delighted to see JBM making a go of it at Rochdale. Also Graham Coughlan at Bristol Rovers. Good lads who plough away in the lower leagues.

Eh BBM even! Though imho any decent autocorrect will default to JBM once you type anything like those letters! Seriously though it would be quite the story if BBM was a managerial success. His dad is almost under appreciated in terms of what a sporting legend he was:- He played LOI for one season for Cork Celtic (heard it said that he was up there with Brady, Stapleton and O Leary in terms of English scout interest) Obviously though he concentrated on Gaelic (forva few years) and hurling thereafter and won.... 1971: Minor hurling medal 1972: Minor football medal 1973: Senior football medal Under 21 hurling medal 1975: All Irl club hurling medal 1976: Senor hurling medal 1977: Senior hurling medal 1978: Senior hurling medal All Irl club hurling medal 1980: All Irl club football medal 1981: All Irl club football medal 1984: Senior hurling medal 1986: Senior hurling medal Munster Roll Of Honour 1971: Minor Football Medal Minor Hurling Medal 1972: Minor Football Medal Minor Hurling Medal 1973: Senior Football Medal Under 21 Hurling Medal 1974: Senior Football Medal Under 21 Football Medal 1975: Senior Hurling Medal Under21 Hurling Medal Club Hurling Medal 1976: Senior Hurling Medal 1977: Senior Hurling medal 1978: Senior Hurling medal Club Hurling Medal 1979: Senior Hurling Medal Club Hurling Medal 1980: Club Hurling Medal Club Football Medal 1981: Club Hurling Medal 1982: Senior Hurling Medal 1983: Senior Hurling Medal Club Football Medal 1984: Senior Hurling Medal 1985: Senior Hurling Medal 1986: Senior Hurling Medal National League Honours: Hurling 1980; Football 1981 Railway Cup: Football: 1975/76/77/78 Oireachtas: 1985 Cork Co.
