The Hill in Ranelagh shut down overnight, was only in there on Friday, shame to see it go. Seesm to be a few disappearing lately.

They are trying to close the outdoor area in the Bernard Shaw. I’d imagine pressure is coming from that new hotel that opened over on Charlemont street. The Shaw brought a bit of life to that area when there wasn’t much going on and now that its been gentrified, the newbies want them gone. If the outdoor area goes then the whole place is fooked

It's a noise issue with the local residents, as far as I'm aware. 

Not sure where this gentrification bit is coming from

Not technically a pub but sold wine and craft beer, Probus Wines on Fenian Street.  Great place for a sandwich and a pint during the day.  Dropped over to it a few days ago and it seemed closed.  Anyone know what the story is?
