Anyone else considering doing this? Falls the same day as the senior home friendly with Bulgaria.
No venue confirmed yet, but it looks like most of their U21 games are either played in Falkenberg or Helsingborg, which are both a train distance from Copenhagen so could probably be done fairly cheap. Could be a decent little away to go 9 pts from 9 (assuming a win v Armenia a few days before). Is there even such a thing as an away allocation for an U21s game?

Fully expect this to be added to the FAI away ticket criteria when another Gibraltar situation arises.

in the games vs Germany in recent years there were no away tickets per se
You could buy the tickets online via German dfb. . Would assume something similar ..

Not normally an away allocation for an U21 game but usually pay at the gate is fine. Segregation would be unusual. I actually know somebody who nearly missed a Gibraltar ticket because he went to Kosovo U21 away and skipped Cardiff the night before last September. It was possible to do both so not much sympathy. The FAI don't record these and fair enough but not sure if he has a point. i don't recall if he got Gib on the ballot or had 6/9.

Would the Class of 88 organise tickets and trips to U21 fixtures?

Venues are normally announced late enough. googling in Swedish for Sweden v Ireland U21 or under-21 sometimes works as local papers often announce a game before the FAs or UEFA.

Cheers GS.
Might look at going depending on venue (ie, nowhere near Stockholm) and if it can be done relatively cheap (relative to Stockholm). |

Ryanair fly to vaxjo via gdansk but I'd imagine summer time flights to gdansk could be pricey

9th September Dublin - Copenhagen 11:45 - 14:55 €51 Copenhagen Airport - Kalmar 16:36 - 20:08 €18 11th September Kalmar - Copenhagen Airport 09:00 - 12:33 €45 Copenhagen - Dublin 15:15 - 16:30 €35 Total: €149 Best route I can figure out anyway, probably unlikely there's a much cheaper route. Flights are Ryanair and the trains from sj.se.

It's about €40 or €50 from both Stockholm and Copenhagen with not that much in travel time between the two options, so if you can get a cheap flight to either of them, you're on a winner. The plus to Copenhagen is that you can go directly from Copenhagen Airport to Kalmar on one train. Edit: although as above there are some cheap train fares from Copenhagen Airport but those all involve changes, as opposed to the direct option.
