Delighted for the Scots, great performance v Ukraine.  It just goes to show, AGAIN, that a PROPER Manager with a proper vision and plan can achieve success with a relatively average squad.  These guys are over-achieving, but McLeish is getting big performances and they have a great team spirit and belief.  Fair fckn play to them.  It'd be a travesty if they don't qualify now.

yeah fair play to them is right, 1 point ahead of World champs Italy and 2 ahead of runners up France. Georgia away next and then Italians at home, what a game that will be!

a win and a draw should see them right..if they make it I'll follow them or possibly Poland. There are a few in work and have great fun taking the piss out of them especially as one of them has a second name of Dudek.

I disagree that McLeish is goodmanager . He was ousted from Rangers and just so happened that the guy that replaced him left the International position. It was a convenient appointment.
Walther Smith did all the ground work in this group and they got off to a flier. You could see on Sat that the confidence is sky high and this eminates from previous results in the group. McLeish was a disaster at Rangers and now he's just going with the flow.

Billybob, he wasn't that bad as Rangers Manager, he won trophies and at least he served a Managerial apprenticeship at Hibs.  Our fella put out cones for Paul Merson, nuff said.  In comparison to Stan, McLeish is definitely what I would term a proper Manager.

On the Rangers thing again - If i was to manage in Scotland with Rangers or Celtic id win trophies. What odds do ye get on a two horse race??
Apprentiship with Hibs??? I'd still put Walsall ahead of them

Fair enough Billy, we'll agree to disagree on McLeish!  Still hope they qualify though.  Aye that blood Wave still rears its ugly head, sad.

The Mexican wave always starts at the bottom corner, to the right of Lehmans goal for the 2nd half: so if anyone is sitting above this section feel free to show your appreciation to this happy bunch with a golden shower.
