Belgium have a greater chance of beating Brazil than Japan would have had they won, so while wanting Japan to do it on the night it's better for teh tournament that Belgium got through. RTE's analysis showing the amount of times De Bruyne could have passed to Hazard but didn't. Hamman thinks he should be dropped as they are not working together and in fairness De Bruyne was poor enough. Facing Brazil though would surely bring out the best in them as I felt they took Japan for granted and then got hit with two quickfire goals. Really tough on Japan though.

Japan opened them up down so many times in the second half, its something they're going to have to sort for Brazil

yeah the match it was a bit like their WWII campaign got off to an unexpected start going good guns for most of it then start to run out of steam get gradually reeled in and then finally bang! shot down in flames.

gutted for Japan. As the game went on, I really thought they could win. They had the best control of the ball for the whole game. And considering that Belgium had far more experienced players, they done so well.
