Anyone else still playing these days?

Had our last league game last night and cup quarter final tomorrow. Could potentially be playing until June 7th.

Longest season has gone on in my memory. What's the longest it's run into for you?

The Carlow League season starts the first week in September and finished on May 13th.

We'll back for pre-season on July 3rd and we'll be doing between 2/3 sessions a week right upto the start of the new season.

The League itself has been pushed back until the first in October due to the GAA season, so we'll playing Leinster/FAI Cup games and the Shield (where A & B teams can merge together in a cup comp) the first few weeks so it takes the pressure off somewhat.

Playing in the Munster Senior League (Junior) in Cork.

Had our first proper games in August and didn't finish up until June 7th. Probably be back at pre seaon in a month or so.

Roscommon season only finished last Saturday June 16th. Crazy stuff. Far too many games. Also too many competitions  3 domestic, FAI AND Connacht cups plus weekends used up for inter league and provincial stuff. The authorities need to look at this as the demands on junior players is crazy.
