Just look at the size of the pitches. How in the world would that make sense. It'd be worse than a ground with a running track

It happening in Australia is good enough reason for it to never, ever happen anywhere else.

you and I and we all know there wont be a 10,000 seat stadium built, if it happens it'll be a main stand like Athlone and even Tallaght originally... and then nothing around the rest for many years

" The Stadium will form an integral part of Louth County Council’s plans for a Municipal Playing Pitch facility at North Drogheda. This facility includes space for several full-size pitches and smaller artificial pitches, which will be accessible to the local community. "

Louth Co Co are putting in some municipal pitches for public use.
The sale of United Park by FAI will pay for a Athlone style one sided stand.

I know it happens but it looks and feels awful. No atmosphere for the fans and the players have trouble getting their bearings.
