Words cannot fooking describe how fooking much I fooking hate that fooking dirge.

I feel an urge to be violent just thinking about it.

Ronan Keating's version of Fairytale of New York was wrong on multiple levels.

I actually cant listen to any version of that song anymore. I was overloaded with the song a a certain time in my life, and I gradually became indifferent to it, before actively disliking it. Its such a depressing song, which I gather is about a co-dependent alcoholic couple who are having a miserable time of immigration, and are trying to put an emotionally solid spin on something which is going to continue to be negative, especially when the drunken haze wears off.

LOL Fair points.

I'd be a big Oasis fan, but was overloaded with Wonderwall during my teens and now don't like the song similarly.

If the words were

'I got my first real Hohner
Bought it at the 5 and dime'

You'd think it was a great song!
I could agree with you but then we'd both be wrong.

Bon Jovi, fooking risible.

I'm not having Blondie in here, you can f**k off! It might not be her best effort but is still miles from the rest being mentioned!

I just googled the "what tune are you listening to at the minute" thread looking to see mentions of blondie and this came up.

There are subjective opinions and there are objective facts. Blondie being good is not an opinion. It's a fact. Maria is a great tune. You are correct.
