thought the crowd was very quiet for an away game. Even worse than arhus which is saying something

Loved tblisi again, the people and the food. I think it's a great country. And would love to go back again. Katskis pillar was special

Enjoyed the various chats with Irish fans we met.

Agreed.  Atmosphere was very flat.

5pm KO - little time for getting absolutely mangled before it.

He wouldn't set me free,
So he kept me soul for ransom.

Wouldn’t have helped alright but the lackluster performance was the main issue. The atmosphere in Geneva just before kickoff was electric and then duffy hoofs from kickoff and the atmosphere started to die.

Tbilisi is a great spot and didn’t fail to deliver this time. Still have to watch yourself; barmen in Casablanca accuses a mate of not paying and tapped his card multiple times and taxi drivers charging way over the odds.

As much as it was great, it’s a hell of a journey. Ryanair could do with putting on day flights when they launch a few more routes to Tbilisi over the next few years.

That beer in maclarens gave rise to some woeful hangovers first couple of days - it’s absolute piss. Good night of karaoke in there on the Thursday. Steered clear of the Hangar

The band on Friday night was good, I thought that some of the lads were going to fall in on top of the drum kit at one stage.

Stuck to the bottles of beer in maclarens until they ran out, got beer 2 doors up after that and eventually ended up on the double captain morgans and coke. Left it at 8am on Saturday morning so didn't go mad before the match.

Was staying about 30 meters away from the hangar but didn't have a pint in it, seemed to be a good crowd in it any time we passed.
Let Christy Take It.

If it’s the same band that was on Wednesday they were great. Female singer and guitarist a bit like Brian Johnson from AC/DC? Have a video of them but f**ked if I know how to put it up.

Enjoyable trip once again to Tbilisi, nice weather, nice food, some horrendous bowl motions. Used Bolt app for taxi cheap as chips. Headed to Fabrika Hostel on the Sunday and it was cool and funky. Really shattered from all the travelling.
time is the stuff that life is made of, don't waste it.

I see Ryanair this month added flights to Tbilisi from France and 2 airports in Italy. Maybe Germany as well. I'd imagine London and others will follow if it's a success. This should make travelling to the Qatar qualifier vs Georgia easier for Irish fans.
