Have you been to the Blacker yank? I was there a few times but stopped goin after some chungfella arrived in his car at the end of the night and drove through the crowd of ppl waiting around outside knockin' over 8 of em' in the process.
Basically FW, stay clear of the Blacker, but everywhere else around that area is fabulous

Thanks lads, we'll play anywhere there's sheckels lads!  Maybe not the Blacker though........we've never played the Celt Yank, though I went there the odd time when I used to work around Gardiner Street.  I must check it out and see if they need a decent band for a change!

HM... been to the Blacker a couple of time but no messers there those nights. (it has been a few years)
Wouldn't surprise me though with the reputation it had in the past.

FW the Celt would always love a band like yours.

Ger, Eddie Furey recorded Dublin in My Tears and yes it is a brilliant song.  A few artists have recorded it.  Absent Friends is another wonderful song it's one I have the lyrics of, but one we don't  yet feature.  One I should and will learn in the near future.

Stags head on Dame Lane Sat night havee one. Handy if youre in town anyway. The Blaggards i think theyre called. Place does be hopping but beware - can attract the one drink per table foreigners but always a gd laugh for piss takin.

Ger, I'll try find out where I can get a recording of that.  Fureys bringing out a Live CD/DVD in the very near future as well.
