Since the new site went live, the Search functionality has been messed up. The one built into the site never really worked, previously you could search on google using...."Search Term site:www.ybig.ie".

Now google will find the result but the link to the thread is broken. Is there any easy way to solve this? Gonna be a lot of new threads opened up.

Found the solution

Go to Google and in the search bar and input

site:forum.ybig.ie *search*

replace *search*  with whatever you are looking for

Beers accepted in Arachon Wink

(nothing to do with ssl, just the forum reconfigured as a sub domain)

I think I figured it out.
The powers that be have deleted loads of threads.

When you use your *search* you get all the available threads.
When you use the old *search* method you get more threads but some are no longer available.
