Our exalted Dear Leader, where's his thread gone? Just wanted to comment that he has been hugely conspicuous in his absence since Monday night. Nowhere to comment though?

Are we all in trouble again, or something? Shocked

I forget where I read it but it was good to see one of the papers highlight that the success of qualification and the money it will bring in should not gloss over the shoddy job the FAI are currently doing

But of course it will gloss over it , qualification galvanises the country & the FAI will benefit to the extent of €12,000,000.

No wonder the picture of Mr. Delaney celebrating with the players in the dressing room post match featured nothing but smiles .

Got a mention on yesterday's Guardian podcast in around about way from a comment that said unfortunately 'the success will mask the rotteness in football administration and development in the country', or words to that effect.

No cushion for the Lord Mayor though
Eamonn Dunphy:"I'll tell you who wrote it, Rod Liddle, he's the guy who ran away and left his wife for a young one".

Bill O'Herlihy: Ah ye can't be saying that now Eamonn
