Clondalkin Celtic will push again this year I imagine.

AUL is a northside league basically... People saying Sheriff should be parachuted in to Senior Sunday forget that Killester won all before them in AUL before getting placed in to 1B iirc....

Next time a team like St Francis goes bang in the LSL Inter, they should parachute Sheriff in rather than promoting loads of 4th placed teams up a league.

Firhouse a totally new team compared to the one who finished runners up last year. They could struggle this year.
I heard the Crumlin game was quote strange and was never a 4-1.
Having said that, Sheriff would absolutely challenge for the league, no question about that

AUL refusing to pay prize money owed to clubs (about 9k) who are moving to another league, similar to last year. Kilbarrack appealed last year but were unsuccessful, so can't imagine appeals will be successful this time.

They may as well pack up the AUL now after the latest round of defections. A merger with another association could be an answer as their main facilities are very good but their finances could be a different story altogether.

the level of football now in the aul is shocking....its dog and duck stuff.and all can be contributed to the same old gang of pricks who run/ran the league and thought the good times would never end.
