First champion from Spain. That decision from Volk to rematch Islam.on short notice is going to haunt him.

Ilia could sell out the Bernabeu in Spain's first ever UFC. They'd be mad not to do that.

Watched back this morning.
Happy through gritted teeth for Garry. If he wasnt Irish you wouldnt be supporting him. Funny thing is he is not necessarily a bad guy it's just he is a bit OTT with how he carries himself.

Even last night the constant 'respect' between the fighters it was too much and very cringy like you said. Even Joe Rogan questioned it in commentary.

In saying that, he fought very smartly and his striking ability was on show at times. Not a classic at all. Would really love to see what we was like he gets into a war with someone.

The main event, what a KO blow. No one seen that coming, especially Volk!

Neal was as much to blame as Garry for how the fight went. Anytime he had Garry’s back up against the cage, he tried to clinch and did nothing with it.

Garry’s a good striker but he lacks any sort of power to trouble the top lads in the division.

Minus fight IQ by Neal, followed him the whole fight. Garry's length will give fellas a lot of trouble, but his chin is too eager to get touched.

Ian Garry up to 6 in the rankings. Not since Joe Duffy have we had another fighter so high. Colby above him and at 5.

He called out Colby for next fight. Might be an interesting one from a build-up perspective.

What do you think about UFC 300 card? For some reason I can still smell one more major surprise announcement (maybe Mcgregor) as the main event is currently underwhelming in terms of being an absolute A-Lister of the UFC and top drawer (though Hill vs. Perreria should be a great fight to watch).

Pereira one of my favourite fighters so I don't mind but it is missing that mega fight. It's during Ramadan so it does eliminate a few potential match ups.

The only place McGregor will be fighting on April 13th will be outside the chipper. The card is loaded outside of the two championship fights. Oliveira Tsarukyan, Pochazka Rakic, Figeiredo Garbrandt and Green Miller are all ones to look forward to.

UFC 299 early prelims have been top notch. Prelims off to a good start too and the rest of the card is stacked.

UFC have their next heavyweight Ngannou.
