IUFU Collingwood Cup 2019, University Limerick, (Feb 04th - Feb 06th)*

Holders UCD travel to banks of the Shannon to defend their title.
The second year of a qualifying round, renamed as Round One (inclusion) before the reduced final three days hosted by University of Limerick.  There is a nice bar and restaurant with outdoor seating overlooking some of the pitches.  Limerick FC underage sides play at the same venue.  A chance also to view some older Thomond College paraphernalia.

Round One
Wednesday 23rd January
Maynooth University College v Trinity College ko 14:00
Mary Immaculate College v UCD, Limerick, ko 14:00
NUI Galway v Ulster University, Dublin ko 14:00

Quarter-Finals Monday 04th Feb
(a)Queens University v Mary Imm./UCD, UL Grass Pitch, ko 11:00
(b)NUI Galway/UU v Royal College of Surgeons, UL All Weather Pitch ko 11:00
(c)UL v MU/Trinity, UL Grass pitch ko 14:30
(d)Dublin City Univ v UCC, UL All-Weather Pitch ko 14:30

Semi Finals Tues 05th Feb
Winner a v Winner d
Winner b v Winner C

Final Wednesday 06th Feb

Spillane Cup (1/4 final losers) and Farquhar Cup (Semi Final losers) should still be in place.
The Farquhar cup with modern Shrek/John Lithgow reference is named after patron of IUFU Anthony Farquhar Auxilliary Bishop of Down & Connor, Chaplin at Queens Univ and UU after that.

*The reduced three days and the earlier and earlier start date of the Tournament, moved to accommodate the changing dates of the Eircom, Airtricity and SSE Airtricity Leagues summer season has made the tournament be known as the Irish CAN.  Changing dates to submit/provide for whingers at League of Ireland who don't really like football.  They thought they may like it, but now they started it they don't really like it.
