Crick should've been sent off first half for that hack on Hale

Chris Curran came on, ended Ives 😂 then proceeded to run the midfield, but the best thing he did was empty that rat Gallagher towards the end of the game.

What a cameo from him. ✊✊✊✊

7,000-plus tickets allocated to both clubs. Pre-sale for members/season ticket holders started yesterday with public sale starting today. Reds have North Stand and Kop. £15 via Ticketmaster (no add-ons, surprisingly). Only lower deck seemed to be released yesterday. Got mine on halfway line. See the IFA at its work again, playing GSTK before kick-off. What's the point? It wasn't heard over the boos in 2018 and it won't be heard over the boos in 2024 with a much larger crowd. Football For All, eh?

Have read on Twitter that they’re nearly all sold out?
People sending the pre sale codes to friends etc

Going to try to get a ticket at 4.30 anyway

The GSTK thing is not only nonsensical-the English national anthem being played at an Irish Cup final-but a calculated insult which will sour the atmosphere from the start as it always has done. Seems home advantage isn’t enough for Linfield, the IFA has to weigh in with officially sanctioned sectarian coat trailing on their behalf as well. They know full well what they’re doing. I’ll be at the match and hoping to get away at the end without outbreaks of violence inside and outside the ground.

Jim Boyce probably behind that.  At an ownership level, are Cliftonville a Nationalist club?  From what I read they became the defacto "Catholic club" after Belfast Celtic's demise.

Actually happened a bit later as demographic shifts made the area around Solitude predominantly nationalist. With the Troubles, Establishment fcukpigs Linfield didn't even have to play away games at Cliftonville, giving them more home games than any other club in the league, a major advantage to the self-styled 'most successful club in the world'.

Cliftonville have already qualified for Europe and are focused now on the Irish Cup final. Only Larne or Linfield can win the league now and most Cliftonville players and supporters would prefer to see Larne do it ( half the Larne team are ex Reds).

You can't just turn form on and off, losing that heavily is a bad sign before a cup final in 3 weeks
