He is eligible, has been out injured a lot of this season though I think.
We're decent enough..

I haven't see Josh Key play at all.
Would he an option for us in the near future?
With Coleman in the twilight of his career. Doherty getting on too. Festy is not a Right back really, he is more a Wing back/winger.

he’s played about 5 games on the trot now since returning from injury. The chaps definitely qualified and went as far to mention his family and their Irish sporting successes.
Hes certainly playing in a position we need cover for and Swansea have I 🤔 think improving results since his return to the side.

Not going to get heartbroken about Bradley, good player but our or the norths fortunes aren't dependent on a right back and he can enjoy his union jack and hearing GSTK for the next 15 years clearly makes him feel a lot of pride.

That would be a fun one, usually the argentine's of irish descent are several generations out of eligibility. Is there any proof anywhere?

Although a passport doesn't mean eligibility even if that is the case.

I saw an article online a while back listing all the Argentine players playing in the top division with Irish names. There was more than I thought. They're probably all ineligible though even if they were up to snuff.

Yeah there's a few in squads, Thomas Cavanagh plays for Velez, Jairo O'Neill plays for Argentios Juniors and Tomas O'Connor only one getting decent game time and is only 19, there is also a young lad plays for Argentinas u19s called Thiago Dowd.

There's also a Spanish born goalkeeper who plays underage for Argentina called Alvaro Killane.

My favourite has to be Bautista Burke. 21 year old keeper who now plays in Qatar.

Burnley under 21s 2 -0 Charlton Athletic  today. Both goals scored by 18 year old Thomas Vincent McDermott. Don't know if he is Irish qualified but his name suggests he could be.

He could be I guess, if there is a Manchester in Argentina.
