Topic: Martin O'Neill Posted: 31 Mar 2013 at 12:57pm |
Its time for a change, and who better than martin o neill. O'Neill gets the best out of players and at the age and experience he has would be idea. Martin knows enough about ALL Irish players, he would hit the ground running and give us a better chance, of reaching the world cup. Denis O Brien pay Trap off, thank him for his time, and begin a new era of Irish football.

i like o neill and taught of this when he got the sack but also then realized all the calls we have for such and such players to be brought through probably wouldnt happen under o neill as he usually tends to stick to a core team of about 16 players

Have nothing against O'Neill meself, but what is hilarious is all the lads wailing about the style of football under Trap are now shouting about O'Neill, while conveniently ignoring the fact he more or less plays identical football to Trap. 442 with 2 wingers and a battering ram of a centre forward.
Izzet/Guppy/Heskey @ Leicster Thompson/Petrov/Sutton/Hartson @ Celtic Young/Milner/Carew @ Villa Johnson/McClean/Fletcher @ Sunderland
The only difference between him and Trap is that he speaks better English. Anyone expecting some class of football revolution if O'Neill took over is going to be a tad disappointed I reckon.......

Typical fans' attitude. Of course players need to be motivated, at all levels
