Im sorry but I dont buy into this at all,if anything I feel we have some great talent coming through which imo gives us a better team on paper at least?!

Coleman - Could be the best rb we have had in years, certainly better than O'Shea
Clark - Relatively new on the scene, playing pretty well in a stuggling Villa team, handed the skippers armband when Vlaar was out which surely is a testament of his character, granted he may not have much competition for it. Who knows how good this lad can be.
Pearce - Havnt seen much of him tbh, played well against oman, only 24.
J.O'Brien - Again not seen much of him but hear nothing but good reports, versatile.
Wilson - Consistent performer for stoke,a lot better than Ward / Kilbane.

McCarthy - Should be the main man in the middle of the park, great prospect. More football in him than Whelan / Andrews put together.
Gibson - Fingers crossed he comes back into the fold and translates his everton form for us. Same as above with regards to whelan and andrews.
Meyler - Needs to stay injury free and kick on. Really liked him anytime iv seen him play.

McClean - Could be anything yet, really needs to kick on but a good prospect.
Brady - Again great prospect.
Pilkington - Fingers crossed he commits, could be an outstanding addition. Certainly not as good as Duff at his peak but a lot better than S.Hunt,Lawrence.

Hoolahan - He should be in every squad and tried in the hole behind Long, would love to see that partnership.
Long - Hardly a newcomer but he is our brightest light imo, needs to be told he is number 1 and given the opportunity to take over from Keane, the sooner the better.

The only area that worries me is CB & GK.These lads are gonna come in for the likes of Lawrence,Hunt,ODea,McShane,Keogh,Kelly,Ward,Green who were all in squads during qualification for the euros. The above prospects radically improve our squad. All regular PL performers bar Meyler and Brady.

Potential Squad,
GK : Westwood,Randolph,Forde
DEF : Coleman,Clark,Dunne,Wilson,O'Brien,O'Shea,St.Ledge/Pearce
MID : McGeady,McCarthy,Gibson,Pilkington,McClean/Brady,Meyler/Whelan/Andrews,Hoolahan
STR : Long,Doyle,Walters,Keane
