Fair play Joshua, that was impressive.

Just shows how bad Fury was the last time!

Incredible performance and put all us MMA nerds back in our box. Hopefully Fury beats USYK then fights Joshua. Did parker win a newly created belt tonight?

Zhang was the who interim. Faught Joyce for.it beat him twice. Think that's what Parker won (who had lost to Joyce).

I guess the WBO main belt is held up by all the messing with Fury, Uysk and Joshua

Shows the strength of our underage (and also our female) boxing that we have multiple elite level fighters at each weight class and we can't send them all (i think only 1 per weight class for many of the weight classes).

It's a weird one to be on the receiving end of someone defecting because they cannot get into an Ireland team (it's usually the other way around) but it's understandable as well. We seen a few examples in Rugby in recent years.

Boxing is quite individual as well so it's not really like switching teams, it's just switching pathways to still make the final destination of an amateur boxer that is fighting at the Olympics. I wouldn't hold it against her. She has represented NI in the past too.

Yep , one if the O'Rourke sisters has missed out on selection too, and she is an absolutely brilliant boxer.
