Thanks for that reminder. I'd seen it before, but it still stands the test of time as a "warts and all" profile of a very complex character.

On the playing side, I especially enjoyed the short clip from the time Best basically beat Scotland on his own in 1967, in a team even included a couple of IL players, against a Scottish team based round the great Celtic team which won the European Cup that year:

Why would you refer to "Eire" when watching Ireland play?
