I'd get a European Health Insurance Card which is free and covers you in all EU states in public health system on ehic.ie. If you have a private health insurance policy you can buy vhi multitrip for 49 a year for an individual under 65.

Got free health insurance with my bank account, also got the E111 card as well just to make extra sure.

I paid 26 yoyos for a year's basic cover with 123 during the week, delighted wit it!!

I got my EHIC card fairly quick. It took just over a week I think. You can order it online.

Yeah operated by Blue Insurance an Irish company and top provider of travel insurance. For anyone who regularly hires cars abroad they also do an excellent annual policy to cover car hire excess. |

Looking to renew mine as well, I got 1 year's cover from 123.ie for 26 yoyos before Poland, can't imagine you'd get much cheaper than that!
