Nah was drawn before Christmas

Afc play Conembol

Concacaf play Oceania (most likely NZ)

Oceania play all their games in March so they're the only real unknown (though most likely NZ)

Asia playoff is first week of June host hasn't been announced yet but most likely to be hosted in Qatar like the Inter playoffs a week later

I know there was talk of them looking to host 2030 or 2034

Nearly the all the stadia would have running tracks around them - On that basis alone they should not be allowed to host it!

LOL

I looked up the Stadiums in China and yeah majority are Olympic stadiums

Can only think of three stadia that would be suitable and wouldn't have running tracks around them.

Think it's inevitable that they host it at some stage mind, would be a great world cup, they'd be well able for it from an infrastructure point of view.

True. If China were to be awarded the World Cup, you can be fairly sure they will build a few new stadiums specifically for the tournament. Within a year.

The China NT continue to be a mess. A perfect example of why politicians should not be dictating how sports are run.

The Asian Cup is on at the moment, gone a bit under the radar with Afcon being on.

Hong Kong have qualified for their first tournament in 56 years. Sean Tse, born and bred in Salford and playing in the 8th tier of English football, is in their squad. Once upon a time he was called into an Irish under 17 squad under Sean McCaffery!

Nothing beats International football tournaments!

Odd that in this day and age that the Asian Cup is not broadcast on any UK or Ireland outlet whatsoever, attracting even less attention than The Gold Cup.  This is why we have streaming devices.

Asian Cup being streamed live on Triller TV.

Nope, I've never heard of them either. LOL

Time zones are poor for Euroean audiences. You're not geting many viewers for a 11:30 am or 3pm kickoff.

Kick-off times for the Gold Cup or Coos America are not terribly Europe friendly either. But at least you could see the games somewhere reasonably unobscure.

Yeah but with those tournaments you'd always hae one game a day that's on at 7/8pm (realise that you'd also have some starting at midnight). Asian cup you'd have none at 7/8pm
