Great price from Spurs' point of view. United could well have held them to ransom over the price as they knew that he would never wear the shirt of the famous Tottenham Hotspur again. I wonder did City's bid push up the price?

What a redicilious story. It shows up all that is bad in football at club level. No loyality. Greed. Agent calling the shots. Bullying. Vast ammounts of money and Spurs. You have to admit, all around, pure bull!
There are friendlier places to drink.

City pushed the price up alright but United still payed less than what City had bid.
