Im guessing this is a can at home pour. Boozers have been closed for less.

Guinness drinkers are worse then f**king vegans. God forbid they ever make Guinness vegan.

Interesting👍 I’d feel like a wally asking for it! Always wanted to try a Heineken in a Coors Light glass. Always seems to have a whopper head on every pint

worse*

Guinness is vegan friendly.

Is Guinness vegan friendly? Yes, our new state-of-the-art filtration process has removed the use of isinglass as a means of filtration and therefore made the ingredients in Guinness Draught, Guinness Extra Stout and Guinness Foreign Extra Stout suitable for vegans.

I remember there was uproar online when they removed the fish bladder about 10 years ago, everyone insistent it tasted different. Then it was just quickly and completely forgotten about altogether LOL

There's no difference between a pint poured in 1 go ad a the two part pour.

Waiting a few minutes is also a pain in the hole in a busy pub.

Purely presentation / marketing gimmick, its the one thing that does my head in with it.

All this tilting the head test and "splitting the G" bollocks, not drinking it out of the right pint glass, too much head / too little head ...sorry "cream" thats not f**king cream, its a foam that doesn't particularly taste all that nice. Its too cold etc.. Its getting out of hand.

Just drink the f**king thing like any other pint! It doesnt have to be perfect.

It came in a barrel / bottle served at room temp for 200 years FFS.

Very annoying when you are left ages waiting on the second pour while he is off doing something else in the meantime. Has turned me to switch off guinness to something else many times.

Sipping a gorgeous pint in Ciaráns in Ennis.  One of the nicest pints I have had in a long time.  Up the Banner.  Still waiting on familyguy.

A fiver for a Guinness in the Tory Top. Only €4 for a Beamish.

Have to completely disagree. if you are served Guinness in a Heineken or any other beer glass it makes a huge difference. I'd actually prefer to drink out of a plastic cup at matches or concerts than drinking Guinness out of a Heineken glass.

They will both taste the same...but

You will get a bigger head with no dome in a one part pour, which means you will actually get less of a pint.

Yes good point actually. even when you are using the guinness nitro cans, if you pour the whole thing in without the 2 pour, it will overflow. Wheras if you time it correctly with 2 pour you get the whole thing in. So if they are doing a one pour pint in a pub and stop at the point of overlow then you won't get as much.
