Great buy for the hammers I reckon. Something is defo amiss at arsenal at the moment. Surprised he went there though as he is a world class player, so though someone like newcastle would have bought him and ruined him!

I get the impression that Wenger feels that players in their 30's (excluding defenders) are past it..hence the 1 year deals they always offer the senior players

in fairness though, freddie was strugglin with injury last year and the year before he was always starting the big games....strange decision to let him go as I would rate him as one of arsenals best!

west ham have loads of cash and they are in london , minimum hassle for ljunberg , also agree he is on a downward slope , maybe an indian summer on the cards for him
