Looks like Hull city are in for him, other reports say sunderland but wouldnt be sure of that one. Cant really see him getting back into the gaffers starting 11 ever but maybe as a squad player? Has 26 caps for ireland and is just gone 28 years of age. Was muck in his last season at newcastle but in fairness the whole team were crap and playing alongside titus 'baresi' Bramble wouldnt be much of a confidence booster for anyone!

While it's not a case of "How the mighty have fallen", for someone who got Man of the Match when we drew 0-0 with Brazil under Kerr, it's somewhat sad to see Andy possibly going to Hull.  Nicosia has done for him what Koller did to Paul Butler in his one and only cap (and we went on to win that game!).  I hope Andy gets a regular game somewhere, he's still better than alot of centre halves, and I'd have him 10 times out of 10 ahead of Titf*ck Bumble.

i wouldnt have him ahead of dunne and mcshane though, also john o shea at centre half a far better option than o'brien, i will admit he was never a player i warmed to and i think he will only ever be cover , drafted in when we have a selection crisis, pity to see him falling as far down as hull though...

After Nicosia when McShane got drafted in v the Czechs, in fairness he's done great.  Big ask for O'Dea, but he's got alot of competition with McManus (outstanding), Pressley, Balde and Caldwell all fighting for places.  He's very promising though and scored a few goals as well last season.

huge ask for o'dea alright , balde is finished in my opinion and pressley was never any good to start with ! looks like mcmanus will be captain this season so o'dea will be shooting it out with caldwell who i think is a good footballer. Both will see action , would be great for ireland if it's o'dea who wins that tussle.
