Quite an entertaining game I felt. Sligo had a great crowd, kudos to them good noise from them Thumbs%20Up Half time at 0-0 we had a great chance but Cook obviously gave them a kick up the arse, 2 very quick goals and we were done. A few lads given chances such as Rusk and O' Connor in midfield. Another sh*te referee, gave a lot to Sligo in fairness but they definitely deserved the win. Kilduff got a very lucky reward but he closes down the defence week in week out so it's no surprise when he wins the ball or a bit more fortunately - get's a goal. Sligos 2nd keeper was dodgy and both keepers kicking was atrocious. Good few in costume in the sligo end LOL

How's Rusky getting on lately? He was dropped there for a while wasn't he?

Two good footballing sides. I'd say it was quite a different type of game to Galway Bohs.

Rusk was involved in the greatest goal I've ever seen live (Goal of the month on mns iirc) him and Wardy volleying it back and forth before setting up Killer. He's been dropped for a while now yeah, but there's a lot of rotation at UCD in general. Not helped by the return of David McMillan - gone towards 4-4-2 more than the 4-2-3-1 where he was very useful. Decent player who's shown great signs of potential though

An OK game alright. Both teams trying to get things going but with varing results. I think the weather might have had somthing to do with that, a fairly strong wind at times (ask the lads in pink at half time LOL ) and very greesy surface didnt help the game.

Not sure if we fully deserved the win as you say UCD AFC but we probably did edge the game. A mistake from our keeper gifted UCD a goal but to be fair to him he made one or two good saves in the game, especially one during the first half. For a team that had nothing to play for UCD played well and made some decent opportunities, we probably had better finishers on the night and that was the difference. between the teams.

Best half time entertainment Ive ever seen at a LOI game. Snow and a rope comes to mind.
