Anybody been watching this series on TG4. Theres an episode on each of the signituries of the proclamation.... So far they have been about Clarke and Connolly, and they have been excellent.... I suggest everybody check out the TG4 player if they have missed them

Researched most of these great mens backgrounds meself, so don't think i'd learn anything new watching this series. I'd say the TG4 programmes would be interesting and very educational for someone interested in the 1916 martyrs who wasnt already informed. I think TG4 would do them justice as opposed to a TV3 effort.

watched the one on connolly last night - excellent alright
 
didnt realise he went to new york for years and learnt Italian to talk to all of those boyo's there. tragic story about his missus dying just before she joined him in NYC too
I dont email the count anymore, its been 9 months : ( He even sent me a YBIG scarf for my Birthday
