I think Gilesy deserves to be in there , a great player and also a former manager of the team . he also did his bit to try to attract paul jewell this time round. Also he was voted Irelands greatest ever player and was presented the award at half time recently ( brazil 0-0 game at landsdowne? )
he deserves a place in the pantheon !

Giles, the King of Punditry, a truly great player (great player is a term bandied about too easily these days, Giles WAS great), laid a foundation of respectability for future Ireland teams as Gaffer. Bloody right he should be on the post amount yokey. Take a bow Gilesy........

Giles was a legend when he was playing and now as a pundit on RTE. He deserves to be regarded as Ireland's greatest player.
