   Can you believe the ridiculously inflated transfer fees being commanded and paid for regarding English players (I've said this for years but it's resurfaced again recently)..........Jeez, latest example, Bent goes to Spurs for Stg 16.5 mil, half a million MORE than what Henry goes to Barca for!!!!  I know there's an age issue, but come on, Henry's only bloody 29, how does that work that Bent is 500k more valuable than TH? Look back too on the fees for Carrick, Hargreaves and others.  Crazy I tell yiz, crazy......

	yeah its mental insnt it. Just puts it into context looking at the Henry/Bent fee. but theres still plenty of bargain buys out there in the premiership ala Benni McCarthy, Kevin Doyle. Chelsea have driven up the price on players who have yet to prove themselves in the premiership just by putting their name as interested in the player. Wenger seems to do a job without spending crazy money on players but he does have a few howlers in his drawer (franics jeffers for 9 million, or was it 11?)

	It's about 30% extra for an English player. But the money in the premiership is unbelievable �50 million and you finish bottom. English clubs will dominate Europe for a long time now..apart from Barca and Real..the other clubs in europe will struggle especially Italy..Ac Milan practically bought no one last season....If the premiership can break into America then it will be utterly ridiculous how far ahead they will be
