RTE are gone all out with their coverage on website, etc. and the indo has a specific section for eircom elague. All good stuff. Hopefully Monday Night Soccer is good tonight, Have a read of Con Murphy's article on rte website. he seems genuinely interested in raising the profile of the league.

The sequence now is, should he miss this, and Ireland's next penalty is scored, then the match and the progress are Ireland's....Timofte against Bonner..

8pm till 9 on RTE2 Roger, you can be sure it'll be a country mile better than TV3's eircom League weekly sh*te from previous years.

Also FOUR FOUR TWO magazine have done a write up about the Eircom league in this months issue and have promised to dedicate some colum space in all there future mags from here on in.If the league can cut out there silly cock-ups we could well be on our way back to the good auld days were ther was a feel good factor around the Irish league.

No HM, eircom League weekly on TV3 is confined to history mercifully. Yeah the cock ups won't help its image, they need to get their act together and make it a bit more credible.

It's certainly better than the TV3 muck but they could probably maybe replay the goals while talking to the panel (Collins, Rico and Tony O'Donohue, with Con Murphy asking the questions), but overall I thought it wasn't bad.
