Wasn't the fault of St Pat's. Look closer to Sligo for the problem or even closer at the referee, Antony Buttimer.

Not for the first time has this ref being embroiled in a similar situation. Waterford V Bohs and Cork V Bray last season come to mind.

No expert on how they work out  who wears what but would hardly think its up to pats to ring sligo and ask them "wat jersies yez taking down with yez lads" after all home team usually never change.. would probably think its a bit of homework the ref has to do week before game

bloody joke, cant believe sligo didnt think for a minute there mite be a clash..i'm sec of an aul div3 side. i ring the opposition every fri before the game to make sure there's no clash. also as far as i know the away team is supposed to bring 2 sets of gear and the home side is also meant to have 2. would love to know why it took so long to sort it out cause it was bitter on the camac.

From what I read the ref didn't help either when some arrangement was all but in place, Buttimer had a problem with the shorts........anyone got the full SP on what happened?
