Well Well it looks like the ''Messiah'' can't work miracles after all. Already Keegan has a worse record than Fat Sam. Afaik Keegan's record so far is  P6 W0 D2 L4. If they'd held on to Fat Sam I'd say they'd stay up fairly comfortably but the way things are going they'll be sucked into the relegation dog fight. I'll have no sympathy for Newcastle if they were relegated (well except for Duffer and Shay but they'll get the fook out of there if it does happen) I'll especially have no sympathy for the fans who called for the head of Fat Sam and said they wanted Keegan to replace him.

Eamonn Dunphy:"I'll tell you who wrote it, Rod Liddle, he's the guy who ran away and left his wife for a young one".

Bill O'Herlihy: Ah ye can't be saying that now Eamonn

agree completely Jim26, didnt give sam enough time and deserve what they get. whose next to fail after keegan, hope its shearer!

if they held onto big sam he would have sorted out there obvious problems, but to give him only 20 odd games is crazy! terrible decision and the fans were just as bad calling for his head! used to like seeing newcastle do well a few years back but dont like their attitude anymore!

I was sort of disappointed Shearer didn't get the Newcastle job as I would have really been looking forward to the Sunderland Newcastle derby for obvious reasons.
