Topic: For all nerds out there Posted: 18 Feb 2008 at 5:40am |
Here's an image from the Hubble telescope.just to
understand the point of it, they pointed the hubble telescope at a spot of sky
which they thought was very empty. The space would equal a 5 cent piece from
about 100 metres. They left it exposing for 2 days and then got this image. Each
of the galaxy’s would be between 10,000 to 100,000 light years
across...quality looking! defo some mental looking predators and ALF's out there!!

Wonder would any of them be interested in a friendly match or are they too scared of Trapp's Ireland?

Thank you Count, that will now be my wallpaper for the computer. How many constellations do you think are contained within this new galaxy? Food for though I will begin my computations and report back next week.

No Battlestar Galactica out there yet Count? I was hesitant at first since it was a remake of the original show but it is a brilliant show. I recommend it for anyone into SciFi
