Yakubu
What an idiot !!
Everything going so well for him at Everton then goes AWOL for 2 days fails to return from Africa for training.
Moyes has dropped him for the squad against Reading. To make things worse Anachabe injured.
There is something very suspect about the Yaks attitude dosn't seem to be able to settle at any club. Scores a few goals and then his head begins to turn believes he is world class thinks he's bigger than the club.
Moyes is right to drop him, bad apple, sell him in summer & get a striker who is committed to a very good squad of players.

It all depends how the yak responds to being dropped. Moyes may not play him on wednesday he may let him sweat in the reserves for a couple of weeks.
Hopefully the yak will get his head down & work bloody hard to redeame himself otherwise get shot.

I think Yakubu wont even realise he's been dropped unless his agent tells him.....he's a professional footballer, he probably forgot that he had to go somewhere after the ANC. FFS, give him a break - Intelligence is not one of the skilss professional footballers possess....
for Yakubu....read Rio, S. Ireland, Trigger et al ad infinitum..!!

Not the first time the Yak has returned "late", did he not do similar while at Pompey or Boro again after being involved with Nigeria? He was probably in the scratcher with some hot sort, but Moyes was right to drop him. Yobo managed to come back in time.

Yes he deserved to be dropped..Moyes takes no sh*te off any of his players..it would have been disrespectful to the other players to include him against Reading..hopefully he will learn from this and get back into the side soon enough...

Moyes is lucky that Yakubu isn't irish or we'd have had a press civil war, Tommy Gorman on the Couch with Yakubu saying..but Yak....for the children...for the children...and Dumbphy wearing Liverpool ties etc etc ..
