Just out of curiosity Mark would Celtic's team still be mostly their players that were playing for them in the Super League before they moved to the A Championship?

A lot of them are yes. It's mostly players that have come up since the under 18 FAI Yputh Cup win. But we have signed a couple of players from around as well. Very young team

Cool, just makes me wonder how Westport would get on if we were ever to enter, if Celtic can compete with the guts of the team they had in the Super League*

*Of course I do realise you need your own pitch and facilities to compete at that level aswell

Castlebar Celtic 7 Finn Harps 2

4 goals from Seanie McHale. What a performance in the second half. Went one up, conceded what seemed like a dodgey pen, then went 2-1 up before half time. Then went 6-1 up, and another dodgey pen given, 6-2, then scored another a few minutes from time. Great start for us, football was great to watch on a beautiful Saturday evening.

G'wan Celtic!

Have heard unconfirmed reports that NUIG will replace the Galway team, possibly even for the A League. Galway United are in a bad state it seems

'Tis the truth. Brilliant idea linking the two teams, Conneely and Foley already play Collingwood Cup for NUIG and club legend and last years 'A' coach Billy Cleary is their manager, their first year Harding Cup team will be the U-19 team as well as far as I know.

Galway beat Sligo 1-0 today. Beat Sligo Sunday and we should just need a point as we have a very good GD :)

Celtic 2-3 Sligo at Celtic Park last week. We were 2 up with 15 to go after two good gols from James McGauran and a lovely strike from Stevie Gavin. They got a couple of excellent goals, we left it behind us but maybe a good thing to get that performance out of the way and learn from it! Went on to easily beat Galway 2-0 to top the group. Playing Bohs in Dalymount Park on the 19th in the semi final. Fingal beat Carlow in the other semi on pens.
