   On sky, Capello doing a MacLaren and dropping Beckham. I think it's a bit harsh on the poor fooker, just one cap away from the 100. It's not like they are building up for the european championships or anything and they have loads of friendlies coming up before the world cup qualifiers too so he could have given him the cap, then told him to fook off.

	Have to admit I'm surprised given Beckham's fightback in the Real team when Capello initially dropped him. Maybe Capello feels his not playing any football now doesn't merit him a place in the squad, so I'd be inclined to agree with that view. Capello doesn't do sentimentality, so the 100 caps issue would never enter his head. Dunph will be pleased.

	after capello admitted it was a huge mistake on his part to leave him out of his real madrid squad last year and that he is one of the best proefssional + leaders...blady blah...he has worked with, capable of another few years at the top, balah blah..... Strange one alright, is he going to do another turn around in a while?

	i reckon once he's back playing with the Harlom Globetrotters or whoever pay him that mad money in the states he'll get a call up..

	Have to say i agree HM. Shame he wont make the big 100 IMO, i've always had a lot of time for him and i think he is a downright decent bloke. He should have stayed playing at the top level for at least another year or two. Surely he now realises that too.

	By all accounts Capello called him and said your not playing as the season is over so your not match fit..one can only assume he'll be in the next squad/s..From Capello's point of view why give the media and fans an angle to attack you with..let him get his 100 caps and move on-every question Capello will get will be about Beckham.
