I see joe O'cearuill has gone to st.pats - also been included in u'21 squad - was supposed to be a pretty good prospect at one time

I was at the barnet cup game last week where he came on and scored in the pen shoot out - knew the name was familiar and then thought to myself how did he manage to get into the senior squad for the usa cup in the summer and end up on the bench now

Barnet are not too bad, and i hope If he cant establish himself there maybe he will do so in the irish league now - get noticed again but it seems a a strange one for me or otherwise a great piece of business for st.pats

from arsenal to st.pats - anyone know anything else about him - wonder will he play for the u21's next week

Strange move alright. It'll be interesting to see how he gets on. It could work well him for him, like it did for Roy O'Donovan and the likes, who were in England at a young age but moved back to Ireland and did well in the EL.

Looked a very good prospect in America last year, was very impressed with his performance,This in my opinion is a hugh step backwards though for the lad, very strange move.

I'd agree that it's a defo a step backwards whichever way you try to look at it. Maybe the lad is homesick or something as I find it hard to believe that he could go from Arsenal to Pats in such a short time at his age. I would have presumed that if you're good enough to be underage at Arsenal and play for Ireland u21's, then you're good enough for Barnet
