Bit shocked over this decision as hes been there donkeys. Sammy Lee the  scouser put incharge aswell. Looks like big sam goin to man city, must have been offered big bucks with the new takevoer deal to make the move

Not sorry to see him go, not a big fan of his or his methods or the style of play he inflicted on our eyes when Bolton were playing.  I can't believe he got so close the England job and I know he's passionate and is a Bolton legend, just not my cup of tea.  He might shake up a few freeloaders at City all the same and he seemed to get Anelka playing, so he does have his managerial attributes, I just never liked watching Bolton overall.

cant see Little Sam doing any better though. 5th in the league will be hard to sustain for him. Bolton arent a great footballing team to watch but are very phyical and get the job done. Big Sam go the most out of players like campo and anelka and even davis in my opinion should have got a england call up long ago. I reckon its only downhill for them now as theres more than a few oulfellas in the team aswell
