Giving up the fags - got pressie off the missus to go to alan carr clinic to knock fags on the head! 5 hours there and leave a non-smoker, looking forward to saving about 60 quid a week but will probably just end of spending it on scratch cards or something!

i'm gonna try and give the beer a break for the month of January. Been overdoing lately and feel like a proper fat basta*d.
Besides got a few bottles of whiskey for pressies, so I'll sip those to carry me through.

count ..gave up fags 3 years ago for new year..set up direct debit with aib ..save 100 a month..dont even miss the money and have saved over 3 grand...good incentive to look at what you waste on fags...

read his book last year and was off them for 4 months.... till I went on holliers and you could smoke in the pubs. Going to give it another go soon.. I was puttin the price of a box in a jar every day... great incentive when you see what money you can save ....paid for me holiday with the cash

have read the book 3 times Percy and have gone off them for 3 months each time and then just go back so this is last straw and then hypnostism or whatever else!
 
Good call on saving the loot each week, I'd say you enjoyed Courtown all the better that week!Smile
