The great thing about this, is it wasn't about RATM really, more so an oppportunity to demonstrate that we have a choice against being spoonfed the same cynical drivel every year. The public stood up and took a stand, it was the principle of demonstrating that we have the power, not the promoters of a television talent show. There was no personal attack as has been alledged, no hidden agenda, just the opportunity to show a big middle finger to the normal regime. That is why the song was so apt simply for the line 'F*ck you I won't do as you tell me'
