Working at the match tonight, have to say it's a very professional set up there, moreso than that of Thomand Park in Limerick.
Stadium is very very impressive, everything was laid out very simple, so it's was a joy to run, they even did up the function room upstairs for the players dinner afterwards, not the bar area, but across the hall, for anyone who's been up there. They had a 2nd referee's room, for the anti doping lads. First thing which hit me was that there wasn't much else around, like pubs, but I was reliably informed that the hotel across the road makes up for all this. 2nd thing was the size of the club shop, the place was massive, and fully packed full of rovers gear not like the poxy prefab Leinster has. Saw 3 Rovers Flags tonight as well, and there was a ton of locals out to see what it was all about. And Ireland won, 31-0 although, to be fair it was a very inexperienced Argentinean side. The only bad thing tonight was the weather, f**king freezin. But seriously impressed with the set up out there, rovers logo plastered everywhere. And also didn't know Rovers retired the number 12 shirt in honor of the fans who saved the club, only read it on one of the plaques in the bar upstairs. |

Good for Rovers because the club shop was open last night, therfore more money going directly to the club |

And isn't that great. More people seeing the stadium where it all happens. Brand recognition - the fundamental driving force for every brand |
