   Dunfermline have sacked manager Stephen Kenny with the pre-season promotion favourites languishing near the bottom of Scotland's Division One. 
Veteran striker Jim McIntyre becomes temporary head coach, the club website stating: "DAFC have terminated their contract with Stephen Kenny. 
"And, with immediate effect, Jim McIntyre becomes DAFC's caretaker." 
Kenny arrived from Derry City last November, but his side dropped out of the Scottish Premier League. 
He led the Fife outfit to the Scottish Cup final last term. 
And, although they reached the Scottish Football League's Challenge Cup final this season, they have slipped 21 points behind leaders Hamilton Academical in the race for promotion.

	He is good young manager though. Hopefully he will come bk home 2 rebuild his reputation with an EL club.

	Nearly worked a miracle last season when he nearly kept them up, bad start to the season and typical modern-day impatience of boards. He'll bounce back.
