In theory its a great idea, and a good effort has being made.

 Years ago i lived in Boston and they brought in a similar law. Touts started selIing Pats tickets with a carpark space or Red Sox tickets with a scarf, to bypass the rule. Feck all the cops could do unfortunately.

Remember searching for tickets years back on ebay iirc and the ticket price was face value but postage was a couple of hundred. Always ways around these things unfortunately. Once the demand is there then there will be a supply..

Says it all really. Also a ticket harvester. Has some kind of different excuse for pulling out of all the away games since last years playoff. Type in tout to your Facebook search. It give you and option to read all the posts on balls.ie page with here being at the centre of them all it makes for hilarious reading.
