yeah they need to win these games against the bottom sides if they want to stand a chance in staying up. In fairness great bounceback after their lesson in football from everton last week! Did he start Stiofain or just come on as a late sub?

He came on for the last ten minutes count. Some result for Everton last week, your man Gordon was dropped for the game yesterday, cant believe McShane started to be honest

hope this can be the goal Stokes needs to get him up and running, the lad has bags of potential but looking from the outside suffers bad for confidence.would be great for Ireland if he could add a few more this season.

agree 100% with you count, hasnt taken the chances he has been given, just hope he adds to his goal on saturday in the weeks to come as it would be nice to have another Irish stricker banging in some goals.
Did keane not say somewere recently that he sees Stokes as a box to box centre midfielder now and not a striker????

didnt hear that one ernesto, could be going the alan smith route then. It being too sh*t to play up front so play in midfield and then when you're too sh*t to play in midfield go back up front! Think he should stick at it up front though as only his first season in the premiership and he's only a young lad with a lot to learn and experience to gain!

Another joke of a card for an Irishman on this lad as well, Stokes was booked for over-celebrating, yet he didn't even leave the pitch perimiter! The fckn Sunderland fans jumped over the hoardings and swamped him, what was Stokes supposed to do?  The standard of cop on and reffing in the Premiership is still atrocious.
